Shows Water Treatment Awareness on the Rise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cA growing knowledge of effective water treatment options means consumers can make better decisions about the water they drink,\u201d WQA Executive Director Pauli Undesser is quoting saying in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wqpmag.com\/wqa-shares-water-treatment-study-results\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">this post from WQPMag.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>That quote is in reference to results from a survey conducted by the Water Quality Association of 1,710 adults (ages 18+) in the U.S. The survey results showed:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>92%<\/strong> of respondents said they are aware of in-pitcher or end-of-tap filters (up from 84% in 2015)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>84%<\/strong> said they were aware of water filters in refrigerators (up slightly from 83% in 2015)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>36%<\/strong> of those who purchased a water filtration system said they were\u00a0concerned about whether tap water is safe to drink\u00a0(up from 27% in 2015)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>25%<\/strong> of those who currently do not have a water filtration device in their home said they are likely to install one in the near future<\/p>\n<p><strong><a
