Elon Musk<\/a>, the innovative CEO and co-founder of Tesla; and\u00a0co-founder, CEO and lead designer of Space X, made news recently when he promised on Twitter to help homes in Flint, Michigan<\/a>, still dealing with lead-contaminated water. Here’s the tweet Musk sent out in response to a message from another Twitter user:<\/p>\n

In a later tweet<\/a>, Musk provided more specifics on how this would happen\u2014asking Flint residents to send water testing information, and saying he would have someone come out and install a water filter.<\/p>\n

We definitely applaud Musk for using his influence and resources to help the people in Flint still dealing with the water crisis. For our part, we recommend that Musk provide Flint residents who have lead-contaminated water with\u00a0our new\u00a0PIONEER\u2122 filter<\/a>, which removes lead from water at the point where it enters the home.
