According to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlive.com\/news\/ann-arbor\/2019\/11\/pfas-levels-in-ann-arbor-drinking-water-tick-up-again.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MLive<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, tests from October revealed the level of PFAS increased to 25-29 ppt in the city\u2019s drinking water. Most of this water comes from the Huron River, which has increased to 40 ppt. Out of the 24 PFAS chemicals Ann Arbor tests the Huron River for, five were found in the city&#8217;s drinking water including:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PFBA \u2013 5.5-7.3 ppt<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PFBS \u2013 1.8-2.3 ppt<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PFPeA \u2013 8.3-11 ppt<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PFHxA \u2013 3.9-5.5 ppt<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PFHpA \u2013 3.8-4.7 ppt<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although the city is unsure where the contamination is coming from, Daniel Brown, from the Huron River Water Council, says \u201cAnn Arbor is so far a best-case scenario for how you get on top of a problem, manage a problem and reduce contaminants, but
