A new report from the Natural Resources Defense Council<\/em> says\u00a018 million Americans get drinking water from U.S. systems with lead violations<\/a>. CNN<\/em> is reporting that\u00a05,300 U.S. water systems are in violation of lead rules<\/a>. U.S. News & World Report<\/em> recently published an opinion piece headlined “A National Water Crisis<\/a>“.<\/p>\n

Reports like these have many Americans questioning the health and safety of their household drinking water. Consumers are asking the questions: How do we really know what’s in our water? And what can we do about it?<\/em><\/p>\n

To inform and educate people on the topic of lead in drinking water, NSF International<\/a> recently published a post filled with resources, guides and tips. For those who don’t know,\u00a0NSF is a public health and safety organization which has led development of standards governing water quality.<\/p>\n
